What exactly is a YoursAssured audit?

A structured financial self-assessment. You work through checklists covering bank reconciliations, invoicing, expenses, payroll, tax and controls. Your answers are weighted into a score out of 100, a risk rating, and a prioritised list of findings and remediation tasks.

Is this a statutory audit?

No. YoursAssured is a self-assessment and readiness tool. It is not an audit under the Corporations Act and does not replace advice or assurance from a registered company auditor or qualified accountant.

How long does it take?

The Quick Scorecard takes about 10 minutes. A Full Audit usually takes an hour or two, longer if you attach evidence and run debtor and creditor sample testing.

Do I need accounting knowledge?

Accepted Answer

No. Every section includes plain-English guidance on what good looks like and which documents to gather, so an owner or office manager can complete it.

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

Accepted Answer

Your data is stored in an encrypted cloud database with row-level security, so your records are only ever readable by your own signed-in account. Evidence files sit in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible. We never sell your data or share it with third parties.

What happens when I refer my audit to an accountant?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is shared until you choose a firm and press send. You pick exactly what to include — the report, the samples, the confirmation letters — and you see a preview first.

Are the listed accountants and law firms paying you?

Accepted Answer

No. Firms are listed as a courtesy during the launch period and pay no referral fees. Referrals are tracked with a code purely so you and the firm can reference the introduction.

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from the billing page and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, then drop back to the free tier. Your data stays intact.

Can I get my report as a PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every finished audit can be downloaded as a branded PDF report you can send to your bank, board or accountant.
