1. About YoursAssured

YoursAssured is a self-service platform that helps Australian small and medium businesses review their bookkeeping, financial controls and compliance posture through guided scorecards and structured checklists. It is a tool, not a professional services engagement.

2. Not professional advice

The reports, scores, checklists and any referral suggestions generated by YoursAssured are based on information you provide. They do not constitute accounting, audit, tax, legal or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional before acting on any finding.

3. Your account and data

You must keep your login credentials secure and ensure that any data you upload or enter is accurate and that you have the right to use it. You are responsible for decisions made using the platform and for maintaining backups of any documents you attach.

4. Referral partners

The directory lists independent forensic accounting practices and business law firms across Melbourne and regional Victoria. These firms are not employees or agents of YoursAssured. Any engagement is directly between you and the referred firm and is subject to that firm's own terms.

Courtesy listing: directory partners are listed as a courtesy. No referral fee or commission is charged or payable for referrals made through the platform. If a referral fee program is introduced in future, it will only apply under a separate written agreement with the partner and never retrospectively.

5. Fees

Subscription and audit fees are shown on the Pricing page and charged in advance unless stated otherwise. All fees are in Australian dollars and exclude GST where applicable.

6. Intellectual property

YoursAssured owns the platform, its code, templates, branding and generated report formatting. You retain ownership of your own business data and any content you upload. You may download and use reports you generate for your own internal business purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, YoursAssured is not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on scores, reports, referrals or any action or omission of a referral partner. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a paid subscription with notice as described at signup. On termination you may lose access to data stored in the platform; we recommend exporting reports before cancelling.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of YoursAssured after the effective date of revised terms means you accept the revised terms.
